Senior Python Backend Developer

As a Senior Python Backend Developer you will:

• Design develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python FastAPI and Microservices architecture.
  
• Build deploy and support enterprise-grade APIs and distributed services.
  
• Develop event-driven applications and integrations using Kafka.
  
• Design technical solutions based on business requirements and prepare functional and technical specification documents.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle including requirement gathering solution design development testing deployment and production support.
  
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy workloads on Kubernetes (AKS) using Helm.
  
• Write execute and maintain automated and manual test cases to ensure application quality.
  
• Prepare deployment cutover and rollback plans while supporting post-production hyper-care activities.
  
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning backlog grooming retrospectives and technical spike discussions.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure scalable and high-performing enterprise applications.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements across applications and deployment processes.
  
• Contribute to technical discussions architectural decisions and development best practices.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• 10 years of professional experience in Python application development and enterprise software engineering.
  
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python FastAPI and Microservices architecture.
  
• Solid experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
  
• Experience implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka.
  
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services with exposure to cloud-native application development.
  
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  
• Hands-on experience with Docker Kubernetes (AKS) and Helm.
  
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments using Jira and Confluence.
  
• Strong understanding of software design principles coding standards and application lifecycle management.
  
• Experience preparing functional design documents and technical specifications.
  
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
