Senior Business Analyst – Collateral & LTV Reporting (BCBS239) €6,800 – €7,600
At a major Dutch bank, all collateral data is being brought together in a single environment: the collateral data product. On top of that new dataset, you build the collateral reporting from the ground up — for the Commercial Real Estate portfolio, Real Estate clients, and the Shipping portfolio. No polishing an existing format: you set the definitions, the data quality requirements, and the governance, and you connect the teams that need to align on all of it.
What this role really takes
This is not a Power BI Developer role. The centre of gravity is stakeholder management: different asset classes use different collateral and LTV definitions, and the real work sits in harmonising them. You bring the Data Domains, the grids, and the Collateral Centre of Expertise together, lead the discussions on definitions and requirements, and build consensus under tight deadlines.
What you'll do
You gather business requirements and set the reporting definitions. You define data quality requirements and checks under BCBS239, coordinate with grids and data owners on data delivery, and test the reports and controls. You set up the governance around the reporting and document the audience, use cases, and ownership. The reporting is ultimately delivered fully automated in Power BI, with Databricks as the platform where the data lives.
What you bring
- A senior to very senior profile — you've run this kind of work before and don't start from scratch
- Banking experience and demonstrable understanding of collateral and LTV concepts within credit risk
- Strong stakeholder management: you connect teams, manage dependencies, and drive definition discussions to a decision
- Requirements analysis and documentation
- Power BI (strong command) and comfortable working in Databricks
- Experience with reporting governance
Nice to have
- BCBS239 experience
- PL-300 certification (Power BI Data Analyst) — aligned with the internal publication requirements
- Prior comparable reporting/governance work within a bank
Practical
- Start date preferably around 24 August; later availability can be noted in the proposal
- End date provisionally 31 December (extension expected, not yet confirmed)
- 36 hours per week
- €6,800 – €7,600 per month, excluding 8.33% holiday allowance
- Working language: English
- Fixed office day: Thursday
