Role Overview
As a Director – Insurance & Pension Services, you will lead large-scale transformation engagements for pension funds, pension administrators, and pension insurers. The role focuses on platform-led modernization, legacy migrations, AI-enabled digital transformation, and advisory aligned to evolving pension regulations, including the Dutch pension reform (WTP).
You will play a critical role in solutioning, sales, and delivery oversight, working closely with client CXOs and Boards to drive business and IT transformation with measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Leadership & Advisory;
• Act as a trusted advisor to CxO and Board-level stakeholders within Insurance and Pension organizations
• Provide thought leadership, POVs, and strategic advisory on business and IT transformation, target operating models, financial performance, and regulatory-driven change
• Build long-term executive relationships and earn client trust through insight-led engagement
Sales & Go-to-Market;
• Lead and support BFSI pursuits and engagements (directly and indirectly)
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with account teams
• Identify and shape opportunities across existing and new clients
• Manage a $15M+ sales pipeline, including $6.5M+ annual wins and $5M+ annual delivery oversight
• Ensure effective pursuit management, scoping, commercial structuring, and contractual alignment
Transformation & Delivery Oversight;
• Provide senior oversight for complex programs including large-scale Insurance & Pension transformations, platform implementations, legacy migrations, CoEs, and Global Business Services optimizations
• Ensure delivery excellence, risk management, and outcome realization across concurrent engagements
Growth & Capability Development;
• Drive growth through business planning, offering development, thought leadership, and analyst positioning
• Collaborate with senior leaders across TCS service units and geographies
• Build and develop talent through recruitment, coaching, and performance management
Required Qualifications.
• Significant experience in the Insurance and Pension industry
• Experience with Pension Funds, Pension Administrators, or Pension Insurers
• Strong domain expertise across DB, DC, and DB to DC migrations including Dutch WTP legislation
• 15+ years of Banking & Financial Services experience with senior leadership exposure
• Proven engagement with CxO and Board-level executives
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into business outcomes
• Experience in matrixed, multinational environments
Preferred Qualifications.
• Established executive relationships within the Insurance and Pension sector
• Prior senior leadership roles of similar scope
• Deep Financial Services / Insurance market expertise
• Relationships with industry analysts and thought leaders
