Regional Head of Finance

Are you an experienced finance leader with a passion for transformation, governance and building high-performing international teams? For a leading international organisation operating across multiple European markets, we are looking for a Regional Head of Finance (m/f/x) in the Randstad region.

This is a unique opportunity for a Regional Head of Finance (m/f/x) to help shape a regional finance organisation that supports multiple entities across Europe. Based in the Randstad region, you will play a central role in driving finance transformation, strengthening financial governance and supporting strategic business growth.

As Regional Head of Finance (m/f/x), you will report directly to the Regional CFO and work closely with senior leadership, finance teams and local business leaders throughout the region.

What Will You Do?

As Regional Head of Finance (m/f/x), you will be responsible for the financial stewardship, governance, controllership and overall financial performance of 13 legal entities across eight countries.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading, developing and inspiring the regional finance organisation
• Managing Finance Managers, Team Leaders and transactional finance teams
• Providing expert guidance on accounting, taxation, treasury, reporting and compliance matters
• Maintaining oversight of financial reporting, governance, statutory compliance and internal controls
• Ensuring effective cash flow management, working capital optimisation, foreign exchange management and banking relationships
• Partnering closely with the Regional CFO and local Managing Directors to support profitability and business growth
• Driving finance transformation initiatives and supporting the implementation of group finance strategies
• Promoting continuous improvement, digitalisation, standardisation and operational excellence
• Managing statutory audits and maintaining relationships with auditors and external stakeholders
• Developing finance talent through coaching, mentoring and succession planning

What Do You Bring?

You are an experienced finance professional who thrives in an international environment and enjoys leading teams through growth and change.

• A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, RA, CPA or equivalent
• At least 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience
• Previous experience as Head of Finance, Finance Director, Group Financial Controller or Regional Financial Controller
• Proven experience leading finance transformation programmes, organisational change initiatives or shared service environments
• Strong leadership experience managing international finance teams
• Experience working within multinational and matrix organisations
• A hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Extensive knowledge of financial governance, reporting and compliance
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of international VAT and cross-border finance operations is considered an advantage
• Fluent English communication skills
• What Is Offered?
• Salary between €110,000 and €140,000 gross per year based on 40 hours, depending on experience, education and overall background
