The role

As a Business Controller within the Damen Services division you will build on your existing foundation and further deepen your understanding of the organization. During your first year your primary focus will be on data analysis gaining in-depth understanding of our financial structure and getting to know the business its processes and stakeholders across the global Service organization.

Following this initial phase you will act as a key business partner to our regional management teams across the globe. You work closely with colleagues in Business Control - both at our headquarters in the Netherlands and within our international Service Hubs as well as expertise centers such as Group Control and Tax. You consolidate financial and strategic input from all Service entities into a coherent divisional business plan and ensure alignment with Damen Group this role you translate business insights into clear data-driven recommendations that support effective performance management in a dynamic and highly international environment.

Reportingtothe Lead Business Control ofDamen Services youplay a key role in steering thebusinessperformance of the divisionand the reportinglead theforecastingprocessesanddelivervalueadding analyses that the primary financial sparring partner forregional managementyou challenge assumptionsidentifyrisks and opportunities early and contribute to shaping business reviewsand commercial strategies.

Key Accountabilities

• Monitor andoptimizebusinessperformanceforassignedregionsby analyzing revenue margins costs and key performancedrivers;

• Provideregional management teamswithclearfinancial insights andactionable recommendations tosupportdecisionmaking;

• Contribute to the designdeliveryand continuous improvementofKPI reporting and management informationforstakeholders;

• Play akeyrole inbudgeting and forecasting by applying business insights scenarioanalysisand datadrivenassumptions;

• Monitor cash positionsidentifyimprovementopportunitiesanddrivecash-enhancingactions.

• SupporttheFinancial Control teamin implementingfinancial policies and proceduresacross international entitiesto ensurecompliancewith(inter)nationallaws and regulations.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor/Masters degree in business economics Accounting orFinance;

• Atleast5years of relevant experienceinFP&A or BusinessControl;

• Stronganalytical skills and the ability to turn data into clearinsights;

• Effectivecommunicatorwho cantranslate strategic goals into practicalactions;

• Collaborative and people-oriented working style thatfitsahands-oncustomer orientatedorganization;

• Team playerwho thrives in adynamic internationalenvironment;

• Willingnessto travelseveraltimesperyear;

• Excellentcommunication skills in Dutch andEnglish;

• Experience with ERP and BI tools ( BI) is a strong plus.

The salary indication for this positionranges between 6500 and 8000gross per month (based on a full-time contract) excluding holiday allowance. Theexact salarywill depend onyourknowledge and position falls under the Metalektro labour agreement.

In additionwe offer 27 vacation days and 13 ADV daysper year (full-time) holiday allowance travel expense (23 cents/km) asolid pension scheme flexibility to work from home andplenty of opportunities for training development and career progression.
