You are the key point of contact for quality-related topics, driving continuous improvement, resolving customer issues, and safeguarding quality standards at our customers in a high-tech, medical or automotive manufacturing environment.
As a Customer Quality Engineer, you act as the bridge between customers and the internal organization.
You ensure that quality issues are addressed effectively and that sustainable improvements are implemented.
Your responsibilities include: Managing customer complaints and quality incidents.
Coordinating root cause analyses and corrective actions using methodologies such as 8D, FMEA and PPAP.
Leading discussions with customers regarding quality performance and improvement initiatives.
Conducting and supporting customer audits.
Monitoring and improving customer satisfaction through Voice of the Customer activities.
Supporting quality-related aspects during customer contract reviews and negotiations.
Developing and implementing customer-focused quality improvement plans.
Managing deviation requests and customer notifications during production.
Ensuring customer quality requirements are translated into operational processes during RFQ and project phases.
Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality.
Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.What we expect from youYou are customer-focused, analytical, and able to maintain oversight in complex situations.
You communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels and are driven to achieve sustainable results.
Additionally, you bring: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a Quality Engineering, Customer Quality or Supplier Quality role.
Experience within high-tech manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, automotive or medical industries.
Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and preferably IATF 16949.
Experience with quality tools and methodologies including 8D, FMEA, PPAP and Root Cause Analysis.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
