Senior SAP S/4 Hana Architect @T-Systems

Design secure SAP solutions and guide them from architecture to stable operations.

T-Systems Netherlands is looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect – Delivery to take end-to-end ownership of complex SAP solutions.

In this role, you will design, safeguard and guide SAP landscapes based on SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, SAP BTP and hyperscaler environments. You will remain involved throughout the full delivery lifecycle: from high-level and low-level design to migration, cut-over and transition to AMS and Run.

Your role

You will translate business, functional and technical requirements into a secure, integrated and operationally ready SAP solution.

You will work closely with project management, SAP Basis and AMS teams, integration and data specialists, security and compliance experts, test management, cloud engineers, change teams and external partners.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating and reviewing high-level and low-level designs.
• Safeguarding end-to-end solution integrity.
• Designing S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud solutions.
• Designing SAP BTP extensions and integrations.
• Defining integration patterns using CPI, PO and APIs.
• Addressing IAM, data, analytics and platform requirements.
• Reviewing migration, testing and cut-over plans.
• Managing architecture risks, dependencies and design decisions.
• Ensuring security, compliance, performance and availability.
• Defining monitoring, logging, supportability and continuity requirements.
• Designing the operational model, SLA structure and handover to AMS and Run.
• Supporting RFI, RFP, proposals, customer workshops and commercial presentations.
• Coaching consultants and engineers on design quality and operational readiness.
• High-level and low-level designs.
• Integration catalogues and data models.
• Risk and assumptions registers.
• Migration and cut-over frameworks.
• Test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Security and compliance documentation.
• Operational models, runbooks and RACI structures.
• Handover packages for AMS and Run.

What you bring

You have 7–10+ years of experience as an SAP architect, solution architect or senior SAP lead consultant.

You have worked on complex programmes such as S/4HANA migrations, RISE transitions, AMS or outsourcing transitions, carve-outs or hybrid cloud implementations.

You bring strong knowledge of several of the following areas:

• SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud.
• RISE with SAP.
• SAP Business Technology Platform.
• CPI, PO and API integrations.
• SAP BW/4HANA and Datasphere.
• SAP IAS and IPS.
• SAP security and authorisations.
• Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• High availability and disaster recovery.
• SAP Activate and solution architecture practices.ITIL, DevOps and SRE principles.
• Monitoring, observability and automation.
• You have strong documentation and design-review skills and are comfortable working with technical specialists, delivery teams and senior customer stakeholders.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.

Nice to have

Experience with the following is an advantage:

• Brownfield or selective data transition.
• SAP Clean Core.
• SAP GRC and authorisations.
• Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
• Public-sector, manufacturing, utilities or telecom environments.
