Role Overview
As a Junior HR, you will be responsible for the full scope of HR activities in the Netherlands, based in our Amsterdam office while visiting the stores. This is a standalone role, meaning you will independently manage day-to-day HR operations while working closely with international stakeholders in the US and Israel.
You will play a key role in setting up, structuring, and professionalizing HR processes locally, while also supporting future international expansion. This position offers a unique opportunity to take ownership early in your HR career within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle independently (onboarding, contracts, changes, offboarding, salary exs.)
- Set up, maintain, and improve HR administration, systems, and personnel files in line with GDPR requirements
- Coordinate and execute recruitment processes end-to-end
- Act as the first point of contact for all employee HR-related questions
- Manage absence registration and ensure compliance with Dutch regulations
- Coordinate payroll input and liaise with external payroll providers
- Ensure compliance with Dutch labour law and internal policies
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and templates where needed
- Managing work visa applications and 30% ruling applications
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders at the US and Israel head offices on HR-related matters
- Support organizational growth and prepare HR processes for potential expansion into Germany and the UK
- Initiate and support employee engagement and performance management processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (internships included)
- Solid understanding of xgiwjmb Dutch labour law
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills/Fluent in English and Dutch (required)
- Comfortable working in an international environment and across different time zones
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems like Bamboo and Connecteam is a plus
