About Saber
Saber gives revenue and operations teams the building blocks they need to automate manual, disconnected work with AI. Our workflows help sales teams operate more efficiently and consistently.
We are backed by leading venture investors. We move quickly and take ownership of our work.
The opportunity
As a founding BDR, you will work directly with Saber's founders and help establish how Saber reaches new customers.
Because the team is small, you will work closely with the founders, contribute to decisions about how we reach customers, and see your feedback put into practice.
This is a phone-first role covering the US and EMEA. Your day-to-day work will centre on phone outreach, supported by email, LinkedIn and events.
The working week includes three days in our Amsterdam office and two planned 15:00 to 23:00 shifts for US coverage.
You will speak with revenue and operations leaders, spark interest and show them how AI can remove manual work from the way their teams operate. Through regular feedback, live call coaching and hands-on training, you will develop your ability to open conversations, handle objections and turn interest into meetings.
What you will do
• Run structured outbound calls across the US and EMEA with the goal of booking first meetings.
• Use phone, email, LinkedIn and events, and test new ways to reach the right people.
• Follow up until the meeting happens.
• Keep HubSpot current with every outcome and next step.
• Share what you hear on calls so the founders can improve the messaging and sales process.
Who you are
Cold-calling experience is required. You must have worked in a role where cold calling by phone was a regular part of the job.
• You are confident picking up the phone and calling someone you have never spoken to.
• You listen carefully, answer clearly and care about understanding the problem behind the conversation.
• You can write clear emails and use LinkedIn effectively alongside the phone.
• You learn quickly, act on feedback and treat setbacks as a chance to improve.
• You organise your time well, focus on the work most likely to create results and are willing to test new ideas.
• You are curious about AI and want to understand how it changes revenue work.
• You enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and want to work in person in Amsterdam.
• You communicate clearly in English and already have the right to work in the Netherlands. Saber cannot sponsor a work or residence permit for this role.
Nice to have
• Evidence that you have performed at a high level in something you care about, whether that is academics, sport, competition, club leadership or something else.
• You use LinkedIn or other social platforms to join conversations, share ideas and build professional relationships.
What we offer
• You will receive a full-time, fixed-term contract.
• €42,000 base salary plus commission, with €60,000 OTE. Commission is uncapped.
• Equity in addition to cash compensation. You will help build Saber, so you should own a piece of it.
• Hands-on sales training and live call coaching from the founders.
• AI-enabled tools and workflows, a MacBook, and the other hardware and software you need to do the job.
