As a Tender Manager, you ensure that our optimal value proposition is clearly developed from a commercial and technical perspective, based on the client's Invitation to Tender (ITT). Leveraging your expertise, you aim to position Acta Marine in the strongest possible way during negotiations, while developing a thorough understanding and assessment of Acta Marine's competitive position in the market.

In addition, you are responsible for business acquisition and key account management, ensuring a robust lead pipeline and maintaining strong visibility and engagement with commercially relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Prepare technical tenders in compliance with client's invitation to tender (ITT), including technical evaluation of tender documents;
  
• Deliver comprehensive in-depth technical customer quotations from start to final proposal;
  
• Prepare pricing, budgets and providing reports and forecasts on cost associated with tenders and projects;
  
• Prepare computation and compilation of project financial and technical quotations;
  
• Prepare method statements in accordance with tender specifications and requirements and company procedures;
  
• Liaise with third parties maintaining excellent relationships internally as well as externally;
  
• Responsible for legal process, supported by technical support and works closely with external legal counsel and/or consultants regarding legal or technical subjects and requirements;
  
• Acts as a Key Account manager and is responsible for business development and engineered sales;
  
• Responsible for bid no bid review for tender board;
  
• Responsible for arranging and writing internal documentation for stage gate purposes (tender board) such as risk matrices, cost estimate overviews etc.;
  
• Presents outcomes of stage gate reviews to tender board e.g. Commercial Director, CEO, CFO and the Supervisory Board for projects with high financial impact;
  
• Responsible for outweighing and accepting safety risks and company liabilities regarding tender process;
  
• Acts in compliance with Acta Marine's ESG ambitions and policies.
  

Job Requirements

• 
  
• Master's degree and background in Engineering (Naval, Marine, Offshore, Mechanical), Business Administration, or legal.
  
• Proven experience in a similar role (min. 8 years) preferably in the Offshore industry.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills, with initiative, a proactive mindset, and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Solid understanding of legal and contractual documentation.
  
• Experience in a maritime environment and familiarity with legal documentation.
  
• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
  
• Results-driven with a strong focus on quality.
  
• Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external audiences.
  
• A strong command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for this role.
