Summa At Summa, everything revolves around students, course participants, and their future. We are proud of what we have achieved and continue building together on the ambition of Summa2030. We train professionals and innovators and contribute to personal growth and societal progress in the Brainport region. In a world that is constantly changing, we remain agile and collaborate with partners in the Eindhoven region on societal issues.
You will find yourself in a dynamic environment where everyone can be themselves and where we work together on future-oriented education and the development of students and course participants. We believe that development continues throughout life, for our students, course participants, and for you. That is why we give you the space and trust to grow, take initiative, and excel.
Your impact as a Marketing & Communication lecturer
You shape young people at a time that matters. You see students come in as insecure sixteen-year-olds and leave as budding professionals. You bring the professional field into the classroom. Real clients, real briefings, and real deadlines—that is where our students learn the most. You are an important point of contact during their internship. You enter the workplace, know the practical trainer, and spot it if something is amiss. You keep education up to date. What works in online marketing today mightbe different in two years. You help ensure that our education remains aligned with this.
- You: provides lessons and practical assignments on online marketing, content, and communication; supervises students on projects and helps think about how we can organize them even closer to practice; guides students as a study coach: you hold conversations, keep a finger on the pulse, and address students when necessary; supervises internships (BPV) from the start: you conduct company visits, maintain contact with practical trainers, and assess progress together with them; Contributes to the further development of the educational program and contact with the professional field; Participates in the team rhythm, such as development afternoons, open days, and examinations.
This is what we offer you
A position in which you combine education, marketing, communication, events, and contact with the professional field.
- A salary in accordance with the MBO collective labor agreement, scale LB or LC, between €3.713 and €6.210 gross per month based on full-time employment, depending on education and experience.
- A fixed-term contract of one year, with the intention of extension.
- A year-end bonus of 8,33%, a pension with the ABP, and a laptop and phone on loan.
- Opportunity to continue developing yourself through training programs, courses, and the annual development festival.
This is what we expect from you
We are not looking for a walking encyclopedia. You don't have to be the sharpest online marketer in Brabant, nor do you have to have organized festivals for tens of thousands of visitors. More important is that you enjoy working with young people and know how to get them moving. Being pedagogically strong carries a lot of weight with us. You can continue to develop your professional knowledge; patience, humor, and a feel for this target group are at least as important.
- You hold a teaching qualification: a second-degree teaching qualification in a relevant subject, a pedagogical-didactic certificate (PDG), or an equivalent qualification; have an affinity with online marketing and sufficient practical experience or professional knowledge to guide students through how the field works; preferably have an affinity with events and enjoy guiding students in organizing events in practice; gets energy from MBO students: from their directness, their search, and the moment when it clicks; are flexible and positive, even on days when the schedule shifts or a class requires a bit more of you; You are creative and entrepreneurial: you see opportunities at companies in the region and seize them; Enjoys working with colleagues, practical trainers, and students.
Developing your Pedagogical‑Didactic Certificate
Do you not have a teaching qualification yet? In that case too, we invite you to respond. You can obtain your Pedagogical‑Didactic Certificate (PDG) through a lateral entry track. We take care of the guidance and training costs.
Become a Summa colleague!
We strive for a workforce that reflects society.
The procedure
You can respond until: September 18. First interviews: September 24. Second interviews: September 25.
