Senior Group Sales Manager Be part of the commercial heart of PPHE Hotel Group as a Senior Group Sales Manager. Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for hospitality, relationship building and unlocking new business opportunities? As our Senior Group Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the Groups segment across our six Dutch hotels, driving revenue growth through strategic account management, proactive business development, and market-leading client partnerships. Working closely with the Head of Sales and wider Commercial Team, you will be the go-to specialist for Group business, developing key accounts across corporate, MICE, agency, production, creative, fashion, luxury lifestyle, and international feeder markets. From identifying opportunities to securing and growing high-value partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial success of our Dutch portfolio. What you'll be doing as a Senior Group Sales Manager

• Develop and execute a proactive Groups sales strategy across six hotels in the Netherlands, driving revenue, market share, and commercial performance
• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value corporate, MICE, agency, production, creative, fashion, and leisure group accounts
• Identify, source, negotiate, and convert new group business opportunities through strategic prospecting and relationship building
• Own the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry and proposal through to contracting, handover, and post-stay account management
• Build strong partnerships with corporate bookers, travel management companies, destination management companies, agencies, and production companies
• Represent the PPHE portfolio through client meetings, networking events, trade shows, sales missions, site inspections, and familiarisation trips
• Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Operations, and the Groups, Meetings & Events teams to maximise conversion and optimise commercial opportunities
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs to identify new opportunities and drive innovation
• Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, account plans, and performance reporting to ensure delivery against revenue targets
• Act as the Groups specialist within the Dutch cluster, supporting cross-selling opportunities and mentoring junior sales team members

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in Group Sales, Hotel Sales, MICE Sales, Business Development, or a similar commercial hospitality role
• A strong track record of generating, negotiating, and converting high-value group business
• Experience managing corporate, agency, MICE, production, creative, luxury lifestyle, or international accounts.
• A commercially driven mindset with experience achieving revenue targets and growing market share
• Strong business development skills and the confidence to open doors, build networks, and create long-term partnerships
• Experience managing complex enquiries and coordinating multiple stakeholders throughout the sales process
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
• Strong knowledge of the Dutch hospitality market; international market exposure would be advantageous
• Experience working closely with Revenue, Marketing, Events, and Operations teams
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage a robust sales pipeline
• Experience with CRM systems, RFP platforms, and hotel sales tools
• Fluent English is essential; Dutch and additional languages are a plus
