Our factory is equipped with advanced technologies and innovative production methods to ensure that we meet the highest standards in food safety and quality. You will be part of the Automation and MES group in Nunspeet factory. Together with our MES, Automation and IT experts you’re going to support daily operations in our factory. You will be assigned to one production line in Nunspeet, and you will be responsible for Automation and MES topics. You will also support E&A projects within the factory. As Automation Engineer you will be part of the Engineering team of Nestlé Netherlands and report to Electrical and Automation Teamleader.

As Automation Engineer you have the following responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and improve existing Automation and MES applications;
- support daily automation topics occurring on the line ((SCADA-HMI-PLC-DMO);
- support root cause analysis for automation digitalization issues;
- identify improvements areas on the line under your responsibility;
- support improvement projects related to Automation and/or OTIT;
- maintain and improve Automation and MES documentation.
What are we looking for in our Automation Engineer?
- A Bachelor’s degree in the direction of electrical engineering, computer science or industrial automation;
- knowledge in PLC controls and affinity with network components and MES. Knowledge and experience with Wonderware and Rockwell PLC’s is not a must, but is an advantage;
- experience in an engineering job in machine and equipment construction;
- you are someone who takes initiative, has an innovative mindset and self-knowledge;
- you are trustworthy, service oriented and wants to work together with colleagues;
- good control of the English language. Dutch is a pre.
