Your Role :

ERM is seeking a dynamic Managing Consultant to join our climate change advisory services team in the Netherlands. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the growth and success of ERM’s climate change business. Our climate change services encompass decarbonization strategy development, creation of Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon inventories, TCFD analysis and reporting, strategy development, policy and regulatory analysis, target setting, and benchmarking. Our clients include global corporations, utilities, and financial institutions across various industries, all striving to make a significant impact on climate policy and clean energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management : Lead climate-related projects, including designing GHG inventories (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), analyzing emission reduction strategies, and assessing policies.
Strategy Development : Support the creation and execution of climate change strategies and transition plans.
Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, partners, and ERM colleagues.
Thought Leadership : Provide strategic insights and high-quality deliverables, guiding colleagues through complex projects.
Communication : Exhibit strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills for impactful client communications.

Desired Qualifications :

Degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or a related field.

Strong advisory skills, including analytical thinking and effective communication.

Relevant experience in climate-related consulting or corporate sustainability.

Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

People management skills with a focus on team well-being.

Proficiency in Dutch and English (oral and written).

Knowledge of corporate sustainability reporting regulations and frameworks (EU Taxonomy, CSRD, SFDR, TCFD, SASB, GRI) and familiarity with ESG strategy and carbon accounting.
