Job Summary:

This position will provide financial reporting and revenue recognition support and be responsible for invoice verification and review, as well as researching and resolving billing questions and issues for the Company. The Revenue Recognition Specialist is also responsible for supporting the completion of the financial / revenue month-end closing process and SOX 404 compliance for internal and external financial audits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare month-end/quarter-end journal entries for revenue and related accounting areas.

Assist the manager in the review of revenue contracts and propose proper revenue recognition.

Participate in the preparation of schedules and analysis of deferred and unbilled revenues.

Review invoices and customer POs for proper revenue recognition.

Assist the team in preparing the Annual Accounts. Responsibilities include the preparation of various footnotes schedules, tie-out of financial statements and footnotes.

Provide requisite schedules/reports for quarterly reviews/annual audits with external auditors.

Assist in quarterly reviews/annual audit with external and internal auditors.

Assist with various ad-hoc reporting, revenue or financial related projects.

Perform SOX testing for revenue and related accounting areas.

Work with cross-functional teams (A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, sales, legal and etc.) to resolve issues if necessary.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in revenue recognition under ASC 606.

Minimum of 2 years of accounting or financial planning and analysis experience preferred.

Must be detail oriented.

Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Must be able to identify and resolve revenue related issues timely.

Excellent organization skills with multi-tasking abilities.

Demonstrated ability to interface and work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels.

Strong US GAAP accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
