A global energy infrastructure and storage company is hiring a Manager Commercial Excellence to drive strategic growth and optimize commercial performance across its international network. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role focused on commercial strategy, pricing, performance, and process optimization. You’ll collaborate closely with regional teams, lead global initiatives, and drive insights through market data and internal analytics.

Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Growth

  • Lead global commercial initiatives and roll out best practices across the organization.
  • Improve pricing strategies, customer portfolio performance, and service offering.
  • Support strategic customer discussions and account management.
  • Act as a commercial sparring partner to regional teams.

Market Intelligence & Optimization

  • Analyze global commercial data (rates, contracts, performance) and provide benchmarks.
  • Track trends and trade flows in product markets, supporting internal resource alignment.
  • Train teams on profitability models and forecasting.
  • Stimulate knowledge sharing and commercial alignment across teams.

    • Operational Execution & Tools

  • Develop and refine dashboards and reporting tools for commercial performance.
  • Support CRM (Salesforce) development with product owners and drive adoption.
  • Support budgeting and target-setting efforts at terminal and cluster levels.

    • Candidate Profile

    Qualifications & Skills

  • 8+ years in commercial, strategy consulting, or business development roles.
  • Strong exposure to oil & gas storage or adjacent sectors is essential.
  • Solid grasp of product-market dynamics, pricing, and commercial contracts.
  • Analytical, strategic, and operationally sharp, able to convert insights into impact.
  • Confident communicator and collaborator, comfortable working across functions and geographies.
