Within the In Container Sterilizer team, you will collaborate with 30 dedicated colleagues to work towards our ambitious plans for further growth as a profitable division of JBT. Additionally, you will seize opportunities to increase sustainability. As a Project Manager in our team, your day will be filled with engaging and hands-on activities, minimizing time spent behind a desk. You will visit our customers during various stages of the project, including kick-off and commissioning. Furthermore, you will participate in Teams meetings to discuss project status with a group of experts from our customers. You will also organize technical meetings with our engineers, conduct design reviews, meet with suppliers, and ensure the quality of our products during shipping. Most importantly, you will find creative solutions to accommodate our customers while staying on track with your project. The Opportunity ... We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Manager with a proven track record in the engineering or food processing industry. We are looking for someone who truly understands our customers and can think with them to provide excellent solutions. As a Project Manager, you will take on challenging projects with a scope between EUR 200K – 15M in value, that will further enhance your skills and expertise. You will utilize modern project management tools and methodologies such as Prince2 and Agile to drive project success. Working on projects with a global impact, you will collaborate with prestigious clients in the food production market. This role will be within a smaller department of a larger organization, fostering a close-knit and collaborative work environment. A technical interest and background in the engineering or food processing industry are essential for effectively managing projects. As our customers and projects require our presence, sometimes with short notice, you must be willing to travel for several weeks per year to client sites for project implementation and collaboration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are crucial for effective communication with clients and team members. Weekly meetings with customers will require clear and concise communication. Demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering on promises and following through on commitments is highly valued. Implementing a standard document structure and continuously improving project management processes are key aspects of the role. Our Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate for the Project Manager position should possess the following qualifications and skills: Several years of experience as a Project Manager. Experience with onsite machine construction and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) is important, as machines are built at the customer's location. Familiarity with international container transport terms and arrangements is required for project logistics. Flexibility to work across different time zones, if necessary, is expected. Hands-on approach to project management (experience with Prince2 or a comparable method). Experience working in a smaller department within a large organization. Technical interest and background in the engineering or food processing industry. Willingness to travel for several weeks per year. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Commitment to delivering on promises and following through on commitments. Experience with standard document structures and continuous improvement.
