Aerox - Intern computer science

Job Description

AEROX develops and operates air purification systems for industrial applications, with a strong focus on odour control using cold-plasma-based technologies. These systems generate large volumes of time-series measurement data from sensors monitoring electrical, environmental, and process parameters. To support both internal R&D and external clients, AEROX is developing a data-driven monitoring and analysis application that combines a structured relational database, interactive dashboards, and applied data analysis.

This internship is intended for a computer science or data science student who will contribute to the further development of AEROX’s monitoring and analysis application. The intern will work on a web application that reads from a structured database containing validated sensor measurements. The focus is on building reliable data pipelines, clear visualizations, and practical analysis tools that help internal teams understand system behaviour and improve odour control performance. Where appropriate, simple machine learning or statistical models may be developed to detect patterns, anomalies, or performance trends in the data.

Job Requirements

• A motivated BSc or MSc student in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience with Python and basic data analysis
• Interest in working with real-world industrial sensor data
• Familiarity with web-based dashboards is a plus
• A practical mindset and attention to data quality and reproducibility
