Responsibilities

  • Upgrade and improve the existing Azure IoT based telemetry system.
  • Enhance data sending robustness and security aspects of the system.
  • Collaborate closely with 1-2 developers in the team and share expertise in IoT systems.
  • Optional : Extend improvements to first-party cryogenics laboratory equipment.
  • Optional : Extend improvements to equipment in fabrication facility.

Required Skills

  • At least 3years + of experience with Azure IoT Hub, IoT Central, Data Explorer, and Stream Analytics.
  • Basic skills in programming in Python (1 year of experience)
  • Good communicator
  • Proactive and self-driven

    • Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Azure (5 years of experience)
  • Proficiency in Python, including async / await. (2-3 years of experience)
  • Experience with Qt or similar lightweight UI libraries (open license).
  • Knowledge in Grafana for data visualization, and deeper skills on dashboard management.
  • Experience with Microsoft or familiarity with its internal IT, security, and compliance processes.
