VAT Intern

Responsibilities

:

Experience based Internship (Dutch: ‘meewerkstage’) focused on EMEA Indirect Tax.

• Assistance in preparation of Intrastat, VAT reporting and EC listings for defined entities
• Collection of audit evidence/financial data from various sources
• Assistance with annual statutory audit
• Assessment of existing processes against policies
• Financial Month-end Close (Journal Entry, Report Preparation)
• Ad hoc analysis (Finance)

Your team

The intern is part of the EMEA controlling team (13 FTE) and will report to the EMEA VAT Assistant. The controlling team is part of a broader EMEA finance team (FSSC, FP&A and Controlling).

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a Dutch university throughout the internship
• Level of education: Bachelor, Master's or Technical degree
• Type of education: HBO Business Economics/ Accounting or similar
• Able to communicate in English
• Able to work independently
• Hands-on mentality with a pro-active attitude
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
