Overview

Marel is seeking a Field Service Engineer - Mechanical to install and maintain Marel machines at customer sites. The role involves stakeholder management, project execution, reporting, and global travel. The schedule is planned to accommodate holidays and personal time.

On a Daily Basis, You Will

Prepare and execute installation jobs.
Conduct service visits.
Troubleshoot production issues at customers’ sites.
Manage local employees in larger installation projects.
Keep in touch with and report to the customer about progress.
Train the customer and feed results back to colleagues.

You will work in a team with experienced coworkers, both at customer sites and in the office, who will share knowledge about Marel machines. Because the role involves global travel, you will be away from home regularly. A clear project and travel schedule is used to balance time with friends and family.

Development and Training

Prepare next projects and report on completed projects.

Participate in personal and technical trainings, both in the office and on the job.

Attend regular meetings with your manager and the team.

What Kind of Person Are You?

You are passionate about technology, enjoy traveling, and have a genuine service attitude. You are independent, flexible, and resilient under stress. You like hands-on work, have an analytical mind, and strong problem-solving skills. To be successful as a Field Service Engineer, you :

Have a degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering or several years of relevant experience.

Basic knowledge of electrical and controls engineering is an advantage.

Have a strong affinity with process engineering and / or food production.

Have a good command of the English language.

Must have valid EU travel and work documents.

Are willing to travel internationally (~50-60%).
