Reporting to the COO, the Senior Operations Manager is responsible for deploying the lean tools and behaviors of our Veralto Enterprise System (VES). S / he will develop a continuous improvement culture and lean process focus to set and deliver Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Inventory (SQDCI) objectives and drive the long-term commercial success for a portfolio of new and existing products. This position is part of the Operations & Manufacturing Team located in Delft, Netherlands and will be onsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like

• Lead a culture of stretch goal attainment utilizing process improvement tools of the Veralto Enterprise System (incl Daily Visual Management, Problem Solving Process). Ensure successful kaizen events by execution of process (planning of kaizen events, execution of week, follow through and sustainment), facilitation skills and the change management process
• Leadership and Talent Management : Support & lead performance of the Delft Operations team of 25 associates in Production, Planning, Manufacturing Engineering and Shipping. Coach, train and counsel associates to ensure performance standards and to improve performance
• Pro actively Lead continuous improvement of Associate Engagement in Operations Team, including training and career development
• Serve as a key member of the Global Operations leadership team to support Global Operations Objectives and demonstrates site Delft wide leadership
• Own and drive targeted, sustainable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Working Capital turns and Productivity related KPI’s / objectives
• Interact with the cross functional team members including Procurement, Quality, Sales, Engineering and Finance to support the implementation of new product introductions and drive growth for existing products
• As a member of the Environmental Health and Safety team the Senior Operations Manager maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; aligning with legal regulations
• Benchmark and incorporate standard methodologies from other OTT HydroMet locations and build business cases to prioritize investments that help us move closer to industry best practices that are applicable to our operations & supply chain
