Customer Service Specialist (Benelux / Order-to-Cash / SAP) - Pharmaceutical Sector - Amsterdam

Salary : up to 4200€ per month

Company : Global Pharmaceutical Company

Contract : 12-Month Initial Contract (potential for extension / longer term)

Work Model : Full-Time (40h), Hybrid(Mon,Tues,Thurs office days)

Location : Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Join a leading global biopharmaceutical company as a Customer Service Specialist - Order Management, in Amsterdam !

Key responsibilities include :

Order Management

  • Process customer orders (wholesalers, hospitals, pharmacies) in SAP and ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery.
  • Proactively follow up on order statuses and resolve delays or discrepancies.
  • Customer Interaction & Issue Resolution

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries, returns, and complaints.
  • Investigate product complaints and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Support recall procedures and contribute to GDP-focused meetings .
  • Master Data & Pricing Management

  • Maintain accurate customer data in SAP and coordinate the setup of new customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Regulatory, Finance) to manage credit limits, pricing, and commercial terms.
  • Accounts Receivable & Cash Collection

  • Professionally contact customers to collect past-due balances and resolve payment issues.
  • Partner with Finance to review open balances and discrepancies.
  • Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all processes comply with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and corporate policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of activities and procedures.
  • Qualifications and Experience :

  • 4+ years of experience in Customer Service (B2B) , Order Management , Distribution, or Supply Chain.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (essential).
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and skilled in stakeholder communication.
  • Nice-to-Have

  • Fluency in French .
  • Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and / or experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
