What you’ll do as a Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be leading the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, semi-automated and automated machinery. You’re developing planned maintenance procedures and schedule their execution on manufacturing equipment, machines and facilities. We work in two shifts, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 07 : 00 in the morning and 23 : 00 in the evening. You report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work in a team with four other maintenance Technicians.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing input and suggesting improvements to electrical, PLC, controls, pneumatic and mechanical design of manufacturing equipment.
  • Providing technical support on capital projects for factory acceptance / site acceptance testing and process validation of new equipment and machines.
  • Working with the Process Engineering team on identifying opportunities to improve machine safety, reliability, yield and capacity.
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits of facilities and equipment to identify areas for improvement and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Strict compliance with ISO 13485 through correct and complete use of Quality Controlled Procedures.

Who are you

  • Qualifications and training in Electrical Engineering, electro-pneumatics and PLC systems.
  • NEN 3140 / NEN 1010 certification.
  • Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment, with a strong focus on compliance and safety standards. Previous experience with ISO 13485? That’s a big pre!
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in minimizing equipment downtime and improving machine reliability.
  • You’re able to manage multiple technical issues in a hands-on, timeline driven environment and have a solutions-oriented approach.
