Introductie

In Eindhoven and the east of the Netherlands, at some of our high tech companies, we are looking for an PCBA Design Engineer.

Do you have experience with PCBA Designs for high-tech products? Or do you have a passion for Printed Circuit Board Assembly designs? This will be the perfect role for you.

Functieomschrijving

As a PCBA Designer you are defining, realizing, qualifying, managing, outsourcing and maintaining various electronic designs for both existing and new products. Furthermore, you contribute on defining the next generation of these products in close cooperation with the electronics designers and system architects.

The main responsibilities are :

  • Participate as a PCBA designer in a multidisciplinary design team.
  • Define and document requirements for PCBA designs.
  • Manage the outsourcing of development activities at co-developers.
  • Perform trade-off studies to determine the preferred implementation scenario for new or changed functions.
  • Define, document and execute tests to ensure that the electronics satisfies the requirements.
  • Solve IP-block related problems and manage problem resolution during first system integration.
  • Contribute to analysis and solution of reliability issues.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Living in the Netherlands due leadtimes
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as a designer of analogue / digital PCBA’s
  • Broad knowledge of electronics with basic knowledge of physics, mechanics and mechatronics
