At the AI research team at Medtronics AI Center Of Excellence were pioneering the next generation of visual intelligence solutions that power medical device applications across visual intelligence robotics augmented reality digital twins and beyond. Were seeking a Junior Machine Learning Engineer with deep expertise in computer this role you will design develop and deploy stateoftheart vision algorithms on medical data such as endoscopy X-rays CT MRI data. Youll work closely with a talented team of AI researchers to turn novel ideas into products across the company together with business unit teams.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

• Algorithm Development : Research implement and optimize algorithms for object detection image segmentation image classification multi-view stereo structure-from-motion (SfM) depth estimation surface reconstruction and volumetric modeling
• Model Training & Evaluation : Design experiments select architectures (e.g. CNNs transformers NeRFs 3D / 4D Gaussian splatting) and manage data pipelines for large-scale image and pointcloud datasets
• Code Quality & Testing : Write clean modular and welltested code in Python
• CrossFunctional Collaboration : Partner with domain experts to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Research & Innovation : Stay current with academic and industry advances; prototype novel techniques publish findings and contribute to patent filings as appropriate
