System Design Architect bij Maritieme IT at Ministerie van Defensie, Den Helder.

Overview

As a System Design Architect you will design, build and maintain high‑end in‑house software products that support maritime domain users of the Dutch armed forces.

Responsibilities

• Organize and design the Guardion System Design, including sensor, weapon and other system interfaces.
• Process change requests in the system design.
• Write software and hardware specifications at both high‑level and detail level.
• Define required ICT infrastructure and hardware components.
• Coordinate with architects, suppliers, development teams and users.
• Communicate with other Defence units for information exchange.
• Assess proposals, specifications and supplier products.

Qualifications

Salary and Working Conditions

Monthly salary €5,748 – €7,427. Temporary appointment with possibility of permanent. 38 hours per week. Security checks, assessment and selection procedures may apply.

Working Conditions

Location : Den Helder. xbpjoel The position requires residence in an EU Economic‑Rural‑Space country; non‑EU applicants must hold a combined residence and work permit (GVVA).
