As a Senior Database Administrator you will : Administer optimize and maintain IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server databases. What You Bring to the Table : 8 years of total DBA experience including at least 5 years working specifically with IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server. Strong hands-on expertise in DB2 (LUW / zOS) administration optimization and performance tuning. Solid experience managing SQL Server administration in enterprise environments. Proficiency in replication technologies clustering and failover mechanisms. Working knowledge of performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace Guardium) and backup / recovery tools. Scripting experience in Shell Python or PowerShell. Preferred certifications : IBM Certified Database Administrator DB2 and Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate You should possess the ability to : Analyze troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in high-volume environments. Implement secure database designs with encryption auditing and compliance controls. Plan capacity effectively and forecast resource requirements. Rapidly learn new tools technologies and database optimizations.
