Who Will You Work With:

Our client is a global leader in the automotive and technology industry, renowned for delivering innovative mobility solutions. You will be working as part of a dynamic development team based in Eindhoven, Netherlands, where cutting-edge technologies are applied to develop and test next-generation navigation systems for commercial vehicles.

About the Role:

As a Developer – Navigation, you will be involved in both development and testing activities of in-vehicle navigation solutions. The role requires strong hands-on Android Java SDK experience and knowledge of automotive protocols such as CAN bus and J. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to enhance and validate navigation software for embedded systems.

This is a -month contract role with a strong possibility of extension. The role is mostly onsite, requiring – days per week from the Eindhoven office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and test Android-based navigation applications for commercial vehicle platforms.

• Utilize tools such as ADB, dumpsys, and Git in daily development tasks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies (sprints, user stories, tasks).

• Work closely with team members to support the development and maintenance of navigation software.

• Communicate clearly and openly within the team and with stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Android Java SDK.

• General Android platform experience, including tools like adb, dumpsys, etc.

• Knowledge of CAN bus and J communication protocols.

• Familiarity with Agile working practices and tools such as Git.

• Willingness to engage in both development and testing tasks.

• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in navigation system development.

• Basic proficiency in Python scripting.
