Job Description
The Role
Being part of the Connectivity Business Division, the person is responsible for leading a team of technical customer and application support engineers with SW / systems competence in The Netherlands.
The person must be an expert in wireless connectivity protocols, preferably Bluetooth. The person must delegate the tasks in his team and is responsible for mentoring and training of the people in his team.
The job requires an engineer who can take a responsible role in larger customer projects and act as a technical interface to Renesas customers as well as to internal development teams and design partners.
Leading the debugging activities of system-level wireless connectivity problems.
Develop the technical and non-technical skills of the team.
Behave as both a technical and behavioral role model within the group, demonstrating the work ethic technical expertise, and ability to deliver that others aspire to.
World-wide travelling ~10%
The Team Lead Technical Support is reporting to the Business Unit Technical support manager.
Your Profile
5-10 years’ experience in customer support of wireless IC’s preferably Bluetooth, DECT, WIFI
Key skills : Wireless protocols, ARM cortex microprocessors, Embedded SW.
Strong communication skills : Communication to team members but also direct interface to engineers at the customer. The Team Lead must be able to build and maintain good internal and external relations
Experience in leading a customer project. Handling deliverables and planning
Engineering degree in Computer science or Electronics
