To support our growth across the Benelux region , we are looking for an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to manage our sales activities across the Netherlands , focusing on direct sales and specification-driven business development.
Role Summary :
As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across the Netherlands by managing key accounts, developing new business, and promoting a wide range of centrifugal, positive displacement, and specialty pumps . You will work closely with clients in municipal utilities, industrial facilities, OEMs, and engineering consultants.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with company goals.
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients, distributors, contractors, and consultants.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both existing and untapped sectors.
Technical & Commercial Expertise
Provide customers with product recommendations, technical specifications, and application support.Collaborate with internal application engineers to prepare proposals, quotes, and bid packages.Deliver compelling presentations and technical demonstrations.Account & Project Management
Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing and after-sales follow-up.Monitor and manage large projects and tenders across water utilities and industrial sectors.Maintain up-to-date CRM records, forecast sales activity, and report on KPIs.Market Intelligence
Track regional market developments, competitor activity, and sector investments.Leverage insights to shape strategic account planning and market positioning.Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with the service, marketing, logistics, and product development teams.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer seminars.Candidate Profile : Essential :
Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical or industrial B2B sales , preferably within the pumps, valves, fluid handling, or mechanical engineering sectors.Strong understanding of pump systems, hydraulics, and process industry applications.Proven track record in business development and account management.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a field-based role.Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).Valid EU driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.Preferred :
Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering , Industrial Engineering , or a similar field.Experience working with municipalities , engineering consultants , or process industries .Familiarity with regional standards and public procurement processes.What We Offer :
