Position : Finance Director Belgium and The Netherlands (m / f)

Location : Brussels or Amsterdam

Contract Type : Permanent – Full-Time

Our client is a fast-evolving international group active in the marketing and communications sector. We are currently seeking a Finance Director to lead and coordinate its financial operations across Belgium and the Netherlands. This appointment comes at a pivotal moment in the organization’s transformation journey, as it consolidates transactional finance through a shared services center and elevates local finance roles to become true strategic business partners.

Role Purpose

As Finance Director for the Benelux region, you will work closely with the Managing Directors in both countries as well as the Regional CFO and CEO, taking full responsibility for the financial leadership, business planning, and cross-border coordination of finance activities. Your mission will be to deliver financial insight that enables strategic decision-making, commercial effectiveness, and sustainable growth, while ensuring full compliance with local and group financial policies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering

• Act as a financial advisor and sparring partner to local Managing Directors.
• Translate financial data into business insight to support client profitability, cost efficiency, resource allocation, and pricing decisions.
• Contribute to strategic projects, new business models, and investment evaluations.
• Help shape country-level business plans and performance targets.
