We are looking for ahighly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our team, focusing on theDutch Public Sector. The ideal candidate will have aproven track record of selling SaaS solutions to Government entities at C-level. You will be responsible for driving new business growth by leveraging your strategic and tactical sales expertise, navigating long sales cycles and European tenders, and collaborating with our reseller network.In this role, you will:
- Develop strategies forprioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in the assigned territory within the Dutch Public Sector
- Performaccount planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
- Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions withinLarge Enterprise Dutch Public Sector prospectsand share Workday's value proposition
- Be responsible for developing relationships withnet new customers with a focus on deal management and connecting customers with Workday solutions
- Negotiate deals with a variety ofC-level Government Executives to close opportunities
- Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data
About You
Basic Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- 8+ years of proven experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions toC-levels across the Dutch Public Sector.
- 8+ years experience inbusiness development, and the ability to operate at both astrategic and tactical level.
- 5+ years experience in collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to achieve quota and manage multiple deals at once.
- 5+ years experience in managing and winninglong sales cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.
- Experience selling based onEuropean tenders and public procurement processes.
- A track record of building long-term client relationships in the Reseller community and Dutch Public Sector.
Other Qualifications
- Proven experience understanding the strategic competitive landscape of the Dutch Public Sector by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts.
- Able to quickly establish trust with key Government stakeholders at C-level and develop long-term relationships within the Reseller community.
- Prior experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies for short and long term prospecting and territory management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
