Position Description The Manager of Event Production will advance the mission and vision of Cascale through engaging members and industry stakeholders through the development and execution of the Annual Member Meeting and other Cascale-led events, as well as work on partnering with other organizations on events.
This includes budgeting, sponsorship, location scouting and event logistics.
Duties & Responsibilities The Manager, Event Production will support, manage and execute all production aspects of events. Primary objectives and responsibilities include : Provide support for Cascale’s global event strategy, identifying and securing high-impact locations and venues that align with organizational goals, audience needs, and brand positioning.
Together with the Director of Events, support the development of individual event budgets and ensure production and delivery costs fall within the expected budget.
Events must be financially sustainable at all times.
Lead the negotiation and development of partner contracts, ensuring alignment across Operations and Events teams and accountability for partner deliverables.
Cultivate and support high-level partnerships (e.g.
Worldly and other global collaborators) through engagement and successful co-hosted initiatives.
Help drive end-to-end sponsor management, from research and outreach to negotiation and contract execution, ensuring deliverables are met and consistently exceeding revenue targets while building strong, long-term partner relationships.
Manage all aspects of digital and in-person event operations, setting standards for excellence in production quality, technology integration, and vendor performance.
Support, design, and implement scalable processes and systems for event planning and execution, driving consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the global events function.
Help drive event-related revenue generation strategies, including sponsorship, ticketing, and partnership programs, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
Monitor performance, optimize revenue streams, and deliver measurable business impact for each event.
Ensure excellence in event delivery, providing support and oversight onsite and virtually.
Leading post-event evaluations, reports and lessons-learned initiatives.
Collaborate on event communications, supporting the development of content and messaging for websites, emails, and collateral materials.
Support efforts to develop and maintain relevant event databases and mailing lists Train staff and speakers on virtual platform as needed Support in the management of the events calendar, aligning partner activations, industry events, and Cascale priorities to maximize impact and organizational presence.
Work effectively across the organization to ensure the right support is being provided to enable the delivery of a successful event, including finance, legal and operations.
Partner cross-functionally on strategic communication initiatives, extending beyond events to support Cascale’s broader communications visibility and engagement objectives.
Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience : Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing or related field with at least 4-6 years experience in event planning and management Budget management and contract negotiation experience Experience working with third-party vendors and partners Demonstrated success in identifying, securing, and managing sponsors and revenue-generating partnerships.
Experience working with both digital and in-person hosted events Strong technical understanding of AV and the technical aspects of event production.
Experience managing event technology tools, including registration platforms, event apps, live streaming, and recording.
Experience in stage design and event branding, delivering cohesive and impactful event visuals.
Ability to thrive in a highly challenging and fast-paced environment Clear thinking and a focus on problem solving Excellent social skills to interact and engage with the variety of staff, members and stakeholders Track record for working in a team-based, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to multitask and handle changing priorities Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Reporting Structure This is a full-time role, reporting directly to the Director of Events.
Compensation and Location Cascale offers competitive salary commensurate with experience.
