Rompa Group is looking for a sales manager with knowledge and experience within an international production environment.
Job description
You will be responsible for two important markets within the Rompa Group: Consumer Products and Life Sciences. You build strong relationships with your accounts and closely monitor and coordinate them. Sales growth with existing customers is key in our strategy. To excel in this role, you bring a strong understanding of consumer product manufacturing, combined with knowledge of life‑science plastics. Equally important is your personality: you can communicate, influence, and negotiate at a senior level with confidence and credibility.
Thinking strategically and acting tactically is why you will excel in this job.
Together with a driven team in the Netherlands and abroad, you pursue targets and actively think about which sales course to sail the coming years.
Your main responsibilities
• Manage and expand relationships with existing customers
• Review RFQ's and prepare quotations
• Negotiating price adjustments and commercial agreements
• Analyze and interpret sales figures
• Budgeting of sales numbers
• Drawing up account plans and following them up
• Thinking about the right strategies for the upcoming years
Profile
• You have a bachelor's / master's degree in relevant fields
• min. 5 years of experience in a commercial/account management position within a production environment
• You have experience in B2B and solution selling environment
• You have experience in negotiating and doing business with multinationals
• You have strong farming, hunting & management skills
• You radiate enthusiasm and energy
• You have a business and an entrepreneurial mindset
• You can express yourself verbally and in writing in Dutch & English
