WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Lead Finance Operating Overheads professional to drive the financial performance of Nike EMEA OOH. This pivotal role provides significant exposure to senior management and requires a strategic leader to manage costs, evaluate investment trade-offs, and align financial investments with corporate priorities across EMEA. The ideal candidate should have the ability to clearly communicate complex financial topics and confidently present to and influence stakeholders at all levels.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As the Finance Lead, you will oversee the 3-year Corporate Strategic Review, Annual Operating Plan, and preparation of the annual budget for EMEA’s Operating Overhead costs. Your focus will be on Nike Direct and the consolidated EMEA OOH. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various functional leaders and, in partnership with the Finance Director and Business Partners, manage regular month-end activities, prepare monthly reporting packages, and analyze variances.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Managing the monthly close and forecast processes for key EMEA functions, with a focus on Nike Direct MPUs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, forecasting, and budgeting of functional costs.
  • Assisting business partners in understanding their cost base and performance against budget / forecast, providing management with insights, and recommending adjustments as needed to support informed decision-making.
  • Overseeing the management of risks and opportunities across the portfolio to ensure performance targets are met for the current fiscal year.
  • Leading the annual planning cycles by modelling and forecasting OOH costs, maintaining close alignment with business partners, and closely monitoring cost drivers.
  • Guiding all business partners in executing global finance initiatives and developing best practices for OOH cost reporting and analysis.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will be an integral part of the EMEA Finance Organization, reporting directly to the Finance Director EMEA OOH. Your role will involve close collaboration with business leaders from assigned functions, the broader EMEA Business Planning and Finance teams, as well as the Global Finance Team. Additionally, you will frequently engage with Controlling, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and other departments, providing a unique opportunity to work with a diverse group of Nike stakeholders.

  • A track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced, challenging environments, with advanced analytical capabilities to synthesize and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of integrity, enthusiasm, and alignment with the Nike brand's values.
  • Mastery of advanced Excel functionalities and tools, with a preference for experience in SAP or similar financial systems.
