Maintenance Engineer

The job

As a Maintenance Engineer youwill take charge of ensuring smooth operations and maintenance across allinstallations in approximately 50 different depot operations. With a focus onprocess optimization and technical expertise, you'll have the opportunity tocontribute to impactful projects, enhance efficiency, and create a safe andproductive work environment. You will make a difference by enabling end usersto work with top-quality installations while minimizing disruptions to dailyoperations.

Your expertise will be crucialin implementing, improving, and maintaining our technical installations andproducts, driving our organization forward with cutting-edge solutions.Furthermore, you will provide valuable insights to management on cost-effectiveinvestments that guarantee high-performance and efficiency of our technicalinstallations and products, both in the short and long term.

As a Maintenance Engineer, youwill take ownership of managing and controlling the budget and costs of depotoperations, ensuring cost efficiency and maximizing profitability. Yourexpertise in spare parts control and inventory management will be instrumentalin supporting our regions and maintaining optimal operational performance.

Do you want to implement, improve and maintain our technicalinstallations?

Additionally, you will also beresponsible for optimizing work methods and processes to enhance dailyoperations in our depots. Key responsibilities include analyzing work methods,proposing improvements, executing installation upgrades, coordinating crisismanagement, and establishing technical service departments in new depots tosupport regional operations.

For this role it is necessaryto travel between 50% to 70% of your time to many different depot operations inEurope and the United Kingdom. Therefore, you will have the unique chance tobroaden your horizons, gain international exposure, and make a tangible impacton our operations throughout the continent.

You are a highly motivated andresults-oriented professional with a combination of technical expertise,analytical thinking, and a passion for process optimization. Furthermore, youpossess strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborateand communicate effectively. Additionally, you have exceptional planning andorganizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Further :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in industrial engineering;
• Minimum of 3 years working experience;
• Familiar with various project methodologies ( Prince2, Agile, Scrum, DevOps);
• Experienced with IT and maintenance software programs;
• High level in Microsoft Excel;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level). An additional language is beneficial preferably ( Dutch, German or Spanish);
• You can travel through Europa and the United Kingdom;
• A valid driving license to drive across Europe and the UK.
