Azure DevOps Engineer

Our client is in search of an Azure DevOps engineer. The role will involve helping tackle crime & due diligence. You will be part of the Name Screening team to help detect individuals and organizations posing sanction, terrorism financing, or money laundering risks.

Responsibilities:

1. Transform global business needs into technical solutions.
2. Ensure services align with our Risk Control Framework.
3. Lead end-to-end accountability, covering operational activities and engineering projects.
4. Collaborate with Global FEC Tech and Compliance teams for policy compliance.
5. Provide and seek constructive feedback.
6. Maintain a proactive, positive mindset and strong analytical skills.

Technical Skills:

1. Create and maintain Windows servers.
2. Handle database administration activities.
3. Implement security fixes for servers and databases.
4. Write and debug stored procedures, functions, and SQL.
5. Work with Azure DevOps and Git repositories.
6. Experience with PowerShell scripting.
7. Build and release CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and troubleshooting.
8. Manage T-SQL scripting, release patches, and IIS certificates.

Requirements:

1. Academic working and intellectual level.
2. Broad IT experience in the financial sector, preferably in compliance.
3. At least 3 years of similar experience.
4. Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps, SAFe.
5. Ability to oversee a wide domain and understand the impact of design decisions.
6. Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with senior management, business experts, and developers.
7. Excellent documentation and writing skills.
8. Proactive mindset and ownership.
9. Fluent in English.

Job Details:

1. 36 to 40 hours per week
2. Work with 70 professionals in the Sanction Detection Area
