What you'll do
- Be the Issuing expert : Become a deep subject‑matter expert on Adyen Issuing , its APIs, and card‑lifecycle workflows—for example, cardholder onboarding, virtual and physical card creation, spend controls, tokenization, authorisation, and reporting.
- Support merchants through their full lifecycle —integration, expansion, and operational success—ensuring seamless adoption and use of Adyen’s Issuing features, such as issuing virtual and physical cards, managing cardholder balances, and optimizing transaction flows.
- Serve as an internal advocate for Issuing product improvements, tracking product processes and relaying merchant feedback and issues to enhance the Adyen Issuing offering.
- Advise merchants on best practices for implementing Adyen’s Issuing solution, such as optimizing card issuance processes, configuring authorization controls, ensuring compliance with card scheme regulations, and troubleshooting specific technical challenges they encounter.
Who you are
You have industry experience in card issuing, with familiarity in areas such as card issuance workflows, authorization processes, or compliance with card scheme regulations, enabling you to effectively support merchants using Adyen’s Issuing solution.
You recognize that each interaction with a merchant is a customer service experience. As such you aspire to deliver a seamless merchant support experience across the globe that transcends global boundaries and time. You have strong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishYou are innovative, have strong problem-solving capabilities and able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly, while dealing with many varied technical support requests and challenges.You have affinity with API troubleshooting, Postman, internet technologies and knowledge of technical processes (think HTML / JavaScript / Scripting).You are self-driven, flexible, and have the ability to maintain high levels of productivity with minimal supervision; taking accountability for your work and results delivered.You’ve had previous exposure to environments rich in uncertainty and you show a resulting track record of successfully dealing with ambiguity.You make quick informed decisions under pressure and prioritize appropriately based on urgency, necessity and both internal and external requests.
