The Role
We are looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to join our European team in The Netherlands. In this role you will manage and grow sales within a defined region in Europe, working closely with distributors and key customers. You will develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and build long-term partnerships to achieve and exceed ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales plans to meet or surpass regional targets, based on thorough market analysis.
- Build, maintain and expand relationships with distributors and key accounts, including senior decision-makers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share and brand visibility.
- Conduct market research to understand regional potential, competition and customer needs.
- Coordinate with marketing to plan and execute promotional activities, trade shows and conferences.
- Support agents with order processing, logistics and after-sales service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and market regulations.
- Provide regular market insights, sales forecasts and performance reports.
Your Profile
Proven track record in developing and executing sales strategies, preferably in the medical device industry.Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or marketing with hospitals, medical schools or healthcare providers.Strong skills in business development, account management and relationship building at senior level.Solid analytical and market research abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other European languages are an asset.Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sales or a related field.Experience organising medical trade shows or academic conferences is a plus.What We Offer
