We are looking for experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Netherlands. In this role you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities within the designated region. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be responsible for driving revenue and building strategic relationships.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success, strong leadership skills, and an in-depth understanding of the local market and public trasportation industry.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and manage sales activities across the Netherlands, including setting sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, and driving customer acquisition.
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to increase revenue and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular sales presentations and meetings with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing, engineering, and support teams to ensure alignment on sales objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and stay competitive.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Organize and participate in regional trade shows, events, and networking opportunities to promote the company and its products.
Your Profile
Proven track record of sales success and business development for public transportation industry in the Netherlands.Strong understanding of the local market dynamics and customer needs.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in Dutch and English, French is welcome.Ability to lead and motivate a team while managing multiple priorities, self-driven personality.Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
