As China’s most globalised and integrated bank, Bank of China has institutions across the Chinese mainland as well as 64 countries and regions. In July 2007, Bank of China (Europe) S.A. (formerly known as Bank of China (Luxembourg) S.A.) officially opened its branch in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, which is the first branch of Bank of China to be set up within the European Union using the EU passport of the Luxembourg sub-branch, and is the first Chinese-funded financial institution in the Netherlands.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banking Operation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking operations, client services, and compliance procedures. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth and efficient banking processes while maintaining high-quality customer service.
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality service to customer, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests.
2. Handle daily banking transactions, systems, and operational processes to ensure smooth execution of banking activities.
3. Support the acquisition of new clients, conduct due diligence, and facilitate the on boarding process in compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Maintain strong client relationships by monitoring accounts, addressing client needs, and providing continued support.
5. Ensure proper documentation and filing of client records, transactions, and compliance-related documents.
6. Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to facilitate efficient operations and compliance.
7. Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, assisting in audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in banking operations or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS or equivalent are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
- Fluent in Chinese and English, Dutch is a plus.
